Why the United States

The United States is enormous — home to around 335 million people and thousands of accredited institutions, from small liberal arts colleges to sprawling public research universities. That scale is the country's biggest draw: whatever you want to study, there's very likely a programme built specifically around it.

Climate and culture shift dramatically by region — snowy winters in the Northeast, mild coastal weather in California, a slower pace across the South. Our partner, Oregon State University, sits in the Pacific Northwest: a region known for its forests and mountains, and a noticeably lower cost of living than the coastal hubs.

With thousands of institutions to choose from, the hardest part is usually narrowing down where to apply — our counsellors help you shortlist based on programme strength, budget, and the kind of city or campus life you're looking for.

Coastal cities like New York, San Francisco, and Boston cost significantly more than the Midwest or South — the same degree can cost very different amounts to live through depending on where you study.
